Marcia Sue Bauer

Marcia Sue Bauer, born in Toledo on January 10, 1951, died Saturday, October 30, 2021, at her residence in Oak Harbor, Ohio. Marcia graduated from Roy C. Start High School (her favorite teacher was Ronald Tice, Esq.). She continued to live with her parents in Toledo, Rocky River, OH, and Sunrise, FL. The family returned to Toledo where she worked briefly at Meijer in Northwood. Upon the death of her parents, she resided at Luther Home of Mercy in Willison, Ohio, later at an assisted living home in Oak Harbor, Ohio, and then resided in Oak Harbor in the home of her loving caregiver, Karla Moore. She later moved to the campus of River View Health Care in Oak Harbor until her death. Marcia was predeceased by her parents Benedict R. and Bette Mae Bauer, grandparents Marge Taylor, Clyde Emahiser, Benjamin Bauer, and Mable Bauer. She is survived by her older brother Richard T. “Tim” Bauer and his wife Barbara of Sylvania, Ohio, nieces Mary Beth Bauer Martinez (Felix) and their daughters Isabel and Elena of Dexter, Michigan and Karen Bauer and her daughter Alexandria of Sylvania, Ohio. The family would be grateful to receive those fully vaccinated people who knew Marcia and would like to recognize her life at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home at 165 E. Water Street, Oak Harbor, Ohio 43449, from 2-3 pm, on Saturday, November 13, 2021. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be considered to Riverview Health Care Campus at 8180 W.
