Marcella L. Scaggs

Marcella Scaggs, 80, of Clay Center, Ohio, died at her home Monday evening, October 14, 2013. She was born May 13, 1933, in Clay Center to Edward and Cecelia Perry Zunk. On August 27, 1949, in Elmore, Ohio, she married David A. Scaggs, Sr., who preceded her in death June 17, 1995. Marcella was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Clay Center and a homemaker. She enjoyed her church activities, cooking and spending time with her family. Marcella is survived by her daughter, Anna Jean Victor Maggio of Chicago, sons, David Patricia Scaggs, Jr., James Scaggs and Allen Jill Scaggs all of Genoa, 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and her sister, Leona of Fostoria. Her parents, son, William, and nine brothers and sisters preceded her death. Visitation will be at Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, from 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, October 16, 2013. The funeral service will be private with burial in Clay Township Cemetery.
