Marcel Joseph Williams

Marcel Joseph Williams, 86, of Catawba Island, entered heavens gates, on Friday, May 16, 2008. He was born June 13, 1921 in Terra Haute, IN, the son of Edwin Adam and Rachel Vivier Williams. Marcel served in the U. S. Army during WWII. He worked as a teacher and scholar. Marcel loved to read. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Caring Sister-In-Law: Phyllis Jean Williams of Catawba Island; Nephews: Todd Williams & family and Mark Betsy Williams & family and Niece: Beth Bob Xavier & family. Marcel was preceded in death by his mother, Rachel, father, Edwin and brother, Edwin. There will be no visitation. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, May 19, 2008 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Port Clinton, OH. Interment will be in Catawba Island Cemetery.
