Marc Hensley

Marc Hensley, age 50, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on February 22, 2025. He was born on March 30, 1974, in Toledo to parents, Ronald and Rose Ann (Brown) Hensley. Marc was a lifelong Toledo resident and graduated from Central Catholic High School. He spent his time active in the family landscaping business alongside his father and brothers, building custom homes, and working for Walgreens Distribution Center.

Marc was a lover of the outdoors, whether sun, sand, or being in the northern woods where he could go hunting and fishing. He prioritized his family and was an excellent son, dad, brother, and friend. He was an avid Cowboy’s fan, liked watching NASCAR, and loyally rooted for the Ohio State Buckeyes. He will be remembered by all as a lover of life. Marc’s smile and his joyful presence will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

Marc is survived by his mother, Rose Ann Hensley; father, Ronald (Karen) Hensley; son, Zachary Hensley; brothers, Cary Hensley (Becky), and Shad Ortman (Amanda); and many aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Marc’s funeral services have been entrusted to the Walker Funeral Home and are being held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Autism Society.

The family would like to thank all the nurses on the 5th floor at the University of Toledo Medical Center as well as those at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for their compassion and excellent care of Marc.
