Madonna J. Henderson, age 85 of Oregon, passed away peacefully at The Glendale Assisted Living surrounded by family and friends. She was born to John and Mildred (Duvall) Ten Eyck on January 20, 1931, in Oregon Township, Ohio. She was a graduate from Clay High School and a lifelong member of St. Ignatius Church. She worked every day for the better part of her life as a bookkeeper, in her most recent position with Lang Electric. Donna enjoyed making her own clothes, crafting and spending time with her many friends she had while camping at Totem Pole campground. Donna is preceded in death by her parents, beloved son, Howard (2004): siblings, John, Robert, Eugene, James TenEyck, Ruth Welling, Delores Hirzel, Patricia Frazer and Mary Catherine Loch. Surviving are son, Phil (Stacey) Henderson; sister, Marge Brown; brother, Paul (Nancy) TenEyck; granddaughter, Heather (Chris) Zerby; grandsons, Andrew (Jocel) Grote, Cody (Katie) Henderson, Aaron Henderson; great grandchildren, Morgan Cousino, Kiele Sims, Kinley Henderson, Kai Grote, Daniela Gonzales, and Chelsea Castro. Family and Friends are invited to a Memorial Mass, with luncheon to follow in the Parish Life Center on Friday, November 11th, at 10:00 am at St. Ignatius Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd. Oregon, Ohio. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all of the staff at The Glendale Assisted Living, all of the nurses and doctors whose care she was under at UTMC and in comforting her final days the aid of NW Ohio Hospice. Memorial contributions can be made to NW Ohio Hospice or a charity of the donor’s choice.
