Madeline A. Klem

Madeline A. Klem, age 90, passed away Monday June 27, 2011 at Franciscan Care Center. The daughter of Theodore and Catherine Clevenz, she was born August 7, 1920 in Toledo. She married Vernon Klem on November 29, 1941 and they enjoyed 68 years of marriage together. Madeline enjoyed sewing, crafts and counted cross stitch. She was an auxiliary member of Walter Weller American Legion Post 135. She is survived by her sons, Kent Joyce, Brian Joanne Klem; grandchildren, Amanda Andy Kenczewicz, Heather Klem; and brother, Theodore Pat Clevenz. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon and sister, Evelyn Vanderlip. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 12:30 PM until the time of the memorial service at 1:30 PM at the Walker Funeral Home and Crematory 5155 Sylvania Ave west of Corey Rd. with Pastor Don Bailey officiating.
