Mabel M. Coleman

Mabel M. Coleman, age 94, of Maumee, Ohio passed away Thursday, November 10, 2011 in the Elizabeth Scott Care Center. She was born June 5, 1917 in Oak Harbor, Ohio to William and Louisa Wargowsky Wendt. Mabel was employed as a sales associate with Bargain City, Handy City in Jacksonville, Florida and the Maumee Board of Education. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting and Ballroom Dancing competition. Mabel is survived by her children, Richard Judy Coleman, Marjorie Ken Cox and Thomas Pat Coleman; grandchildren, Steven, Michael, Venissa, Melissa, Duane, Daniel, Cecil, Christopher, Clayton and Allyson; 21 great-grandchildren and sister-in-law, Doris Wendt of Oak Harbor, Ohio. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; brothers, Rheinhart, George and Alfred. Family and friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee on Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 3-8 pm, where funeral services will be held on Monday, at 11:00 am.
