Lynda Perlman, 76, passed away peacefully at home on November 26, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Lynda was a graduate of both St. Ursula Academy and University of Toledo earning a bachelor’s degree in education. She had a long and rewarding career as an Elementary School Teacher after graduating and as a Reading Specialist in her later years. Lynda had a wide range of interests outside of work. She was an active member of Junior League and a longtime member of Sylvania Country Club. She selflessly gave her time working as a Volunteer at Toledo Hospital. And she loved spending time at her winter home in Naples, Florida with close friends and family.
Above all else, Lynda’s greatest passion was her family. She was an incredible wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and daughter. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 38 years, Philip Perlman. She is survived by her children, Kristyn and Brad Kaplan, Arika and Michael Sinnott, Scott and Elena Perlman and Jonathan Perlman; her grandchildren, Alexis and Blake Kaplan, Max and Drew Sinnott, and Ella and Henry Perlman and her grand dog, Parker Perlman. She is also survived by her loving sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and James Sattler. Lynda was preceded in death by her parents, June and Mearl Huffman and Richard and Nancy Blase and her mother and father-in-law, Irma and Albert Perlman.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Adam Walter, Natalie and Sarah of ProMedica for the exceptional and compassionate care provided.
