Lydia R. Vargas

Lydia Vargas, 80, of Perrysburg, passed away Wednesday, November

22, 2023 at her home. She was born October 31, 1943 in Bixar County,

Texas to Trenidad and Pilar (Ruis) Vargas.

She loved to socialize with anyone and never knew a stranger. She

enjoyed animals and spending time with her family, especially her

three grandchildren, Jesse, Isabel, and Trinity who were her entire

world.

Lydia is survived by her children; Kimberly (Brian) Ash and Robert

(Heidi) Vargas; grandchildren, Jesse, Isabel and Trinity. She had four

brothers and three sisters; Marcio Vargas, Ofelia (Pete) Rios, Benito

(Maria) Vargas, Silverio (Francisca) Vargas, Simon (Eva) Vargas, Beatrice

(Stanley) Sudek, Mary (Aniceto) Artiega and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 1-

4 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary

Street, Perrysburg (419-874-3133) where a celebration of Lydia’s life

will be held at 4 p.m.
