Luetta K. Lou Metcalf

Luetta “Lou” K. Metcalf, 55, of Oak Harbor died early Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at her residence. She was born on October 30, 1959 in Port Clinton to Ernie Francis and Darlene Shirley (Brashear) Metcalf. Lou previously worked for Riverview Industries, Erie Island Resorts, L&K, Portage Appliance, Blakely’s Appliance, and Radio Shack. She was a member of Fremont Alliance Church. Lou loved singing, helping others, knitting, crocheting, working in her yard and flower gardens, spending time with her dog T.J. and cat Moo Moo, collecting Precious Moments, preparing Thanksgiving & Christmas dinners, spending time with her mom and she especially loved her siblings. Lou is survived by her daughter: Jessica L. Metcalf of Oak Harbor, mother: Darlene S. Metcalf of Oak Harbor, brothers: Ernie F. Metcalf of Rocky Ridge and Bradley R. Metcalf of Lompoc, CA, sisters: Belinda M. Joseph of Graytown, Tammy L. (Rau) Fellows of Port Clinton, and Charlotte A. Krotzer of Oak Harbor, and special friend: Ray Blakely of Oak Harbor. She was preceded in death by her father: Ernie F. Metcalf, Sr. and her brother: John J. Metcalf. Visitation will be 1-4 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2015 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor, where funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. by Pastor Glenn Merril. Interment will be in Rusha Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions for Lou may be given to the Ottawa County Humane Society or in care of the family.
