Lue M Ladd

Lue Mae Ladd, 88 of South Toledo, passed away on Friday February 28, 2014 at Heartland of Waterville surrounded by her loving family. She was born on June 30, 1925 in Franklin County, Alabama to Luther and Addeen Oliver. Lue was the manager for 10 years at R R Investment. She was active in the Maumee Democratic Club where she served as past president and public relations chairperson. Lue was also a past president of the PTA at Ft. Miami Elementary School in Maumee. She is survived by her children, Sylvia J. Kaintz of Maumee; James M Cyndy Ladd Jr. of Melbourne, FL; Laura L. Christopher Dorr of Toledo; grandchildren, Kelly, Heather and Stacey; and 2 great grandchildren, Hunter and Kennedy Logan. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James; and brothers, Ervin and Bennie F. Oliver; sisters, Vera Thompson and Ethel Pickle; and sister-in-law, Jean Oliver. The family would like to thank Heartland of Waterville for their care and compassion given to Lue and the family. Friends may visit on Tuesday March 4, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio, 43537. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday March 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Highland Memorial Gardens, Waterville, Ohio.
