Lucy M Killam

Lucille Marie Killam, born August 12, 2016, died unexpectedly on February 23, 2022. Those who knew her during her short life will miss the joy she brought to their lives. There was plenty of it. It is nearly impossible to describe a child for whom “every day was the best day ever.” A light has gone out of our universe.

Lucy was the beloved daughter of Matt and Brooke Killam and the big sister of Monroe (MoMo) Killam. She had a host of grandparents, Grammas–Anita LaShonse, Cathy Killam, and Marsha Manahan, and Grampas–Tom Killam, Greg Peterson, and C.J. Robinson. just to list those holding the title officially. Lucy will be missed by her much loved and loving aunts and uncles, Dana and Martha (Mimi) Killam (Justin Sellers), Billy and Joe LaShonse, Christine Kimberly, Asia, Jaron, and Austin Robinson, and special friends “Gramma” Molly (Drew) and “T,” (April Tritschler), plus the many great aunts and uncles, cousins and others whose lives she touched and were the better for it.

Friends and family will be received at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 West Sylvania Avenue, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 28 and from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday March 1. A private service for the family will follow.

As Lucy loved exploring the MetroParks with her parents, the family asks, in lieu of flowers, that contributions be made to establish a special fund in memory of Lucy at the MetroParks Toledo Foundation. https://metroparkstoledofoundation.org/in-memory-of-lucille/
