Lucretia Jane Curtis

Lucretia J. Curtis passed away peacefully Sunday, June 6, 2010 in her home with her family gathered around her. She was born February 16, 1933 in McCutchenville, OH of Seneca County to Merle and Zola Bare. Lucretia was a devoted mother, wife and homemaker, and retired from Ohio Bell/AT&T. She is survived by her husband, John Curtis; sons, Rodney Pam, Dan Laura, Brent Jody; grandchildren, Brandon and Mark, Nicholas, Natalie and Erin, Jon and Julianne; and great-granddaughter, Elizabeth. She is also survived by sister, Dorothy Schuff of Tiffin. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra K.; brothers, James and John Earl; and sisters, Laura Anna and Irma Mae. Visitation will be held at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd. on Thursday, June 10 from 2 to 9 PM. Funeral service will take place at Trinity United Church of Christ, McCutchenville, Ohio at 11 AM on Friday with a short visitation starting at 10 AM at the church.
