Lucille H. Nissen

Mrs. Lucille H. Nissen, 87, of Jerusalem Township, Ohio, died Sunday, November 25, 2007, in St. Vincent-Mercy Medical Center, Toledo, Ohio. Lucille was born in Wood County on December 15, 1919, to Fredrick and Louisa Textor Hoefflin. She married Donald Nissen in Williston, Ohio, on April 20, 1939, and he preceded her in death in 1999. Lucille was a homemaker and member of St. John Lutheran Church in Williston, as well as a member of the Esther Circle. She enjoyed playing cards and working on embroidery, needlepoint, and crocheting along with traveling with her family. Survivors include her son, Richard D. Nissen, and daughter, Judith L. Howard Wagoner, both of Oregon, Ohio, sister, Marie Robert Davis of Delta, Ohio, 10 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, David F. Nissen, brothers, Ralph Hoefflin and Elery
