Lucille M. Miller, 92, of Oak Harbor, OH died Sunday, July 06, 2008 at Edgewood Manor Nursing Home, Port Clinton, OH. She was born on October 17, 1915 in Port Clinton, OH to Rudolf and Julia Ryder Mahnk. On November 6, 1947 in Oak Harbor, OH she married Howard Miller, and he preceded her in death on December 15, 1995. During World War II she worked at the Erie Proving Grounds. Lucille also worked as a cook for the Oak Harbor Hotel, The Grill, Van Attas, and St. Pauls United Church of Christ in Oak Harbor for 11 years, retiring in 1988. She was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Oak Harbor and was a member of the Afternoon Guild at the church. Lucille loved to cook and had several cook books. She also enjoyed gardening and canning. Survivors include: son: Wayne Deborah Huffman Miller of Oak Harbor; 2 grandchildren: Raymond Boling and Charlene Boling; and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter: Barbara Goetz, and brothers: Clifford and Bill Mahnk. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 10, 2008 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor with Reverend David Voll officiating. Visitation will be two hours prior to the services from 11:00 am. 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor, OH.
