Lucille Elizabeth Howard

Lucille Elizabeth Howard, age 89, of Waterville passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 13, 2014 with her family by her side at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio.  She was born on October 8, 1925 in Toledo, Ohio to Frank and Julia (Nadolny) Watras.  Lucille was a proud homemaker, but also worked for JC Penny,  Leslie Optical and Libbey Glass.  She was a member of the Idlers and Loafers in Waterville and was a great cook.  Most of all, Lucille loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lucille is survived by her sons, Jim (Beverly) and Glen (Jean); 6 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Howard; parents; and 5 siblings. Visitation will be held on Sunday November 16, 2014 from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, Ohio 43537.  Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday November 17, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maumee, Ohio with prayers beginning at the funeral at 9:30 a.m.   Interment will take place at a later date in Wakeman Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 River Road, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551.  Online condolences may be given at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com
