Lucille Dye

Lucille M. Dye, age 97, of Toledo was called home to Heaven on Friday, December 14, 2012. She was born on May10, 1915 to Frank and Stella (Hayes) Laipply and on April 10, 1939 she married Samuel W. Dye who preceded her in death on February 9, 1995 after 50 years of marriage. She was a member of the Sylvania Senior Center and the former Dorr Street Church of God. Lucille spent her free time making crafts and she enjoyed playing bingo, cards and dominoes. She is survived by her daughter in law, Marjorie Dye; sister, Myrtle Layman; grandchildren, Samuel R. (Tamara) Dye, Katherine M. Phillips and William T. (Margaret “Lucy”) Dye as well as 32 great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Stella; husband, Samuel W. Dye; son, Thatcher Dye; and four brothers and one sister. Friends will be received on Monday from 2-8:00 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Bill McGinnis, officiating. Lucille will be buried next to her husband at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials contributions may be made in her name to either Country Parsonage, c/o Mark Taylor, P. O.
