Lucille M. Beck

Lucille M. Beck, age 94, of Swanton, Ohio passed away on September 18, 2012 at Swan Pointe Care Center. She was born to Joseph and Caroline Bettinger Eisel on June 16, 1918 in Richfield Center, Ohio. Lucille married Raymond Beck and had six children together. After her husbands death, she was a cook at Park Elementary School until retiring to enjoy her passion for sewing and gardening. She was well known for her large flower gardens that spanned the roadside. Lucille also was a member of the Swanton Garden Club and a member of St. Richard Parish in Swanton, Ohio; where she served on the Altar and Rosary Society. Lucille often kept busy by making hundreds of rosaries for missions. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Caroline; husband, Raymond; brother, Gilbert Eisel; and sister, Catherine Gries. She is survived by daughters, Donna Glenn Biler; Marian William Linenkugel; Rita Carl Schwartz and Joyce Richard Cornell; sons, Dale Julie Beck and Larry Veronica Beck; 11 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Friends may call on the family at St. Richard Parish, 333 Brookside Drive, Swanton, Ohio on Saturday, September 29, 2012 beginning at 9:30 am until the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at St. Richard Cemetery. Arrangements by Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, Maumee, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made in Lucilles name to St. Richard Parish.
