Lucia Ibarra

Lucia Ibarra, 75, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Sunday November 19, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by her loving family. Lucia was born on September 8, 1942 in Mexico to Jose Maria and Conception (Ramos) Flores. She was married to Jose Ibarra, Sr. on November 5, 1960 at St. Rose Catholic Church. Lucia was a member of St. Peter and Paul Church. Lucia loved reading, tending to her garden, and enjoyed cooking for her family. Lucia is survived by her children Jose Ibarra, Jr., Narciso Ibarra, Telma Ibarra, Joyce Ibarra, Patricia (Cruz) Gomez, Guadalupe Ibarra; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; many brothers and sisters; many loving nieces and nephews; and her fuzzy companion, Burrito. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose, and her parents. Friends and family will be received on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home 222 E. S. Boundary St. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133) beginning at 9:00 A.M. with prayers being recited at 9:45 A.M. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 East Front St. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Maumee, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association.
