Lowell Bryan Mohler

Lowell B. "Barney" Mohler, age 84 of Ottawa Lake, MI, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2026.

Barney was raised in Bedford and was a 1960 graduate of Bedford High School. He had been married to Joanne (Borgelt) Mohler for 59 years. After high school, Barney served his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps. He retired from Detroit Edison in 2002 as a Journeyman Millwright. Barney was a member of the Dundee Sportsman Club, the NRA, and Amvets. He enjoyed auto racing, hunting and shooting in his free time. He and his family enjoyed camping and traveling and those times will be dearly missed. His loved his hotdogs and M&M's.

Barney was preceded in death by his parents; Arden and Erma (Spalding) Mohler, brother, Larry, and sister, Larene. He is survived by his loving wife, Joanne and son, Daniel (Terri).
