Louise M. Yager (née Ronk) passed away at home on November 4, 2018 in Perrysburg, OH surrounded in love by her daughters. Louise was born in Chicago, IL to Jacob and Beatrice (Flynn) Ronk. She married Richard J. Yager on September 4, 1948. They moved across the country from coast to coast and made many great friends along the way. She was a full time homemaker and dedicated her life to her family. Louise was passionate about her family and friends, and loved to entertain. She was an avid bridge player, gourmet cook, accomplished swing dancer and an active member of Town Club and New Neighbors. She was funny, beautiful, generous and kind. Above all, she had a tremendous faith in God and her church. She was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Perrysburg for 48 years, where she served as past president of the Altar and Rosary Sodality, and volunteered in the school kitchen. She also volunteered at Heartland of Perrysburg and supported the Shriner’s Hospital for Children. Louise is survived by her daughters Carole Buchanan of Perrysburg, OH and Gayle (Michael) Bayer of Swanton, OH; sister-in-law Elaine Yager of Oak Forest, IL, four nephews and their families and her beloved dog Chipper. She embraced her extended family of 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Richard Yager; her son-in-law Ronald Buchanan; her sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Al Berg, sister and brother-in-law Virginia and Ed Liskoski; brother-in-law Norman Yager and sister-in-law Rita Yager. A private funeral service will be held on November 8, 2018, with interment at St. Rose Cemetery in Perrysburg, OH.
