Louise Ann Karchner

Louise Ann Karchner slipped away peacefully on Monday March 31, 2014 after a long illness. She was born on June 30, 1927 to Emmett and Emma Noftz Mizer near Fremont Ohio. Louise was a graduate of Clyde High School, the Maumee Valley Hospital School of Nursing and was an RN at Flower Hospital for many years. Louise married Martin G. Karchner and the both of them spent most of their lives in south Toledo where they had two sons, Brent and Mark. She was part of that special generation that was strong, compassionate and never afraid of hard work. Louise was an animal lover, particularly her dogs, and they were great companions over the years. Her other great love were her grandchildren who will truly miss her, but are thankful for all the time they spent together. Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Marty and son, Brent Karchner, and is survived by her son, Mark Kim Karchner; granddaughter, Kendall Karchner, and grandsons, Brendan and Evan Karchner. She also leaves behind many friends and relatives. There will be no visitation and services and internment will be private at Toledo Memorial Park.
