Louis A. Haas

Louis A. Haas, age 92, passed away Sunday, January 30, 2022, at home. He was the third born son of Leonard M. and Ruth V. (Steinmiller) Haas on December 23, 1929.

He retired from NFO Research, Inc. in 1991 after 35 years as supervisor of the mail center. He served 5 years in the Navy as an aerial photographer. He took part in photographing the atomic test in Oct/Nov 1951 at the Nevada site.  Since his retirement, Louis spent 5 days each week with his brother, golfing, walking in the park or having coffee with his friends.

Louis is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Leonard M. He is survived by his brother, Robert and many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant, Maumee on Monday, February 7, 2022, from 10:00 until the time of services at 12 Noon. Memorial contributions may be made to The Wounded Warriors Project.  Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Online condolences can be shared at walkerfuneralhomes.com.
