Louis R. Geller, 91, of Elliston, died late evening Thursday, October 22, 2010, in Mercy-St. Charles Hospital, Oregon. Louis was born February 12, 1919, in Brownsville, WV, to Louis and Elizabeth Geller. On June 2, 1949, in Hessville, Ohio, he married Helen E. Keck, who preceded him in death December 20, 2007. Louis retired in 1985 as a repairman from Chrysler in Perrysburg. He had also worked for Herbrand Corp. in Fremont, Dohler-Jarvis in Toledo, and Rohloff Brothers Alfalfa Mills in Trowbridge, Ohio. His hobbies included horses and going to horse sales, traveling to Shipshewana and Amish country, and gardening, which provided for all his family. He also enjoyed the fall-his favorite time of year. Louis especially loved his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by his children, Sue Earl Williamson of Fremont, Robert Linda Geller of Elliston, and Helen Stephen Jacob Geller-Rasar of Martin; seven grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; and sister, Hazel Ellis of Bowling Green. Louis was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and siblings, Mary Harsanje, Esther Katonac, Elizabeth Miller, Irene Westfall, Margie Turley and John Geller. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, October 25, 2010, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory of Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2010, with interment to follow in Limestone Cemetery, Graytown. Memorials for Louis may be given to Harris-Elmore EMS or the Kidney Foundation.
