Lorraine Teresa Molter

Lorraine Teresa Molter, 70, of Catawba Island, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. She was born on October 12, 1937 in Passaic, NJ, to John Jack and Mary Martin Hrabovsky. On April 27, 1957 in Clifton, New Jersey, she married Robert J. Molter and he survives. Lorraine was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church where she was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She worked for Catawba Schools, Mon Ami and Nates Restaurant. She enjoyed bowling and bingo and was also involved in the Young Democrat Club. Lorraine was also part of the Red Hat Society and Senior Center, previously serving as the Vice President. She also loved to bake special cakes for family and those in the community. Survivors include: Husband: Robert J. Molter of Catawba Island; Son: Robert A. Laura Molter of Marblehead, OH; Daughter: Linda M. Mike Stinnett of Catawba Island; Sister: Patricia Frank Cangelosi of New Jersey; Brother: Michael Lynn Hrabovsky of New Jersey, John Hrabovsky of New Jersey; Step-sister: June Chubby Della Porta of New Jersey; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held Monday, October 6, from 2-4 6-8 P.M. at the Gerner-Wolf Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 216 Washington St, Port Clinton. A Funeral Mass will be conducted by Father John Missler on Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Port Clinton. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations may be given to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or School.
