Lorraine A. Mackewich

Lorraine A. Mackewich (84 years old) died peacefully at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on February 6, 2025. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on January 4, 1941, to her parents Evariste Latulipe and Edna Blais. She had a 50+ year-long successful career as a hairstylist. She had a loyal customer base who followed her anywhere and many were lifelong friends. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandparent and friend.

She loved to travel and had wonderful adventures in places like Europe, Alaska, and Canada. She loved music by Willie Nelson and saw him live several times.

She is survived by her children, Chris, Brian (Jennifer), Greg, and Cynthia; and grandchildren, Caleb, Adam, and Evan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph G. Capoccia and her son-in-law, Jeffrey.

A memorial Mass will be held at Saint Joseph Catholic Church, 104 W. Broadway Street, Maumee, Ohio, on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 10:30 a.m.
