Lorna Jean Fouts, 83, of Woodville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2015, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo, surrounded by family. Born December 9, 1932, in Toledo, she was the daughter of Wade and Essie Williams. She graduated from Whitney Vocational School in 1950 and married her husband, John, in 1954. John and Lorna loved to travel and visited Europe twice and traveled extensively in the United States and British Columbia. She also worked part time at the Ohio Bureau of Unemployment. Family and friends were very important to Lorna, and everyone was always welcome at her house. She always had a smile and a hug to make everyone feel special, even strangers. Lorna loved to fish, camp and canoe in her earlier years, and she always enjoyed playing board games and euchre. She never met a dog she didnt love, and she rescued many throughout her life, all having a special place in her heart. Lorna was preceded in death by her husband, John, parents, and sister, Nathalie Heard. Left to cherish her memory are her son, John, daughter, Sue (Pat), grandson, Caleb, and her faithful companion, Max; as well as niece and nephews, Tim, Ruth, Joey and Mark, and lifelong friends, the Hillyers, Horns, Hubakers, Joanne, Joan, Melinda, Sue and Dodie, and many others.
