Lori Louise Krieger

June 7, 1963 — June 30, 2009

Krieger Lori L. On June 30, 2009, our sister, Lori Krieger, passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio at the age of 46, from Melanoma Cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lorraine Krieger and sister, Kathryn Sommer. Lori is survived by her sisters, Karen Barak Yehuda, Rosalie Sullivan, and Joanne Gary Hines; brother, Karl Andrew Sheila Krieger; nephews, Scott Colleen Sommer, Mark Spring Sommer and Jedediah Pacelli; niece, Michelle Bockart; and great-nieces, Cheyenne Bockart, Celine Buchanan, Kathryn & Olivia Sommer. Lori worked at the former Foodtown for ten years then Krogers as a file clerk. She loved the outdoors and her animals. Lori loved working with and raising Thoroughbred horses. Anyone who knew Lori knew her great sense of humor. She was a great friend to all who knew her. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 8 pm at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave. west of Corey Rd.. Funeral Services will be on Monday at the funeral home at 10 am. Private burial will take place at the Mother of God Cemetery in Covington, Kentucky. The family suggests donations be made to Kentucky Equine Research, 3910 Delaney Ferry Rd., Versailles, KY 4038, as Loris one true love were her horses. The family would like to thank Dr. Timothy Kasunic and the Toledo Clinic for their support and kindness; the nurses and staff at the Toledo Clinic Cancer Center; and the staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. The family would also like to thank the employees of Kroger Store #501 and Julie at #500, for their kindness, friendship and support.
