Lori Ellen Coulter

September 28, 1962 — February 4, 2010

COULTER, LORI ELLEN Myers passes away February 4, 2010. Lori passed away unexpectedly Thursday in her home at the age of 47. Lori was born in Lime City, Ohio on September 28, 1962. She was raised by parents Suzanne Sparrow and Eugene Leroy Myers with siblings Doug, Mark and Tracy in Maumee Township and attended Maumee High. Lori shared a very close relationship with her parents and when her father died in 1991, she worked in tribute to her fathers glass working profession many years into her adult life. In 1981, Lori married Kenneth James Kenny Coulter III and they bore their only daughter, Danielle. During her daughters youth Loris family, especially her mother Sue, helped to raise Danielle even into her adolescence when they moved back to Maumee until her daughters graduation in 2000. In 2003, Lori became engaged to Carson Keg Paulsen and they purchased their first home together. Sadly, Keg passed away in February 2004 before they were married. However, Lori maintained and beautified their home until the day she passed away, located in the quaint Hungarian community of East Toledo. Lori was a beautiful, active, wonderful, caring and giving person who loved her family, daughter and dogs very much. She proudly supported her daughter through seven years of active duty naval service while Danielle was stationed in San Diego, CA from 2002 until 2009. During which time Lori even deployed with her daughter for a traditional Tiger Cruise. She was also an avid supporter of the Humane Society and relentlessly fought locally for the fair treatment of animals. She will be dearly missed by many. Lori is preceded by grandparents Joseph and Marguerite Myers, grandparents Oscar and Lavenia Sparrow, father Eugene Myers and fianc Keg Paulsen, survived by daughter Danielle Coulter of San Diego, CA, mother and step-father Sue and Victor Dull, brother Doug and Mark Myers and sister Tracy Myers all of Toledo. Lori was also survived by nephew Timothy Gillett Jr., niece Lauren Hehl-Myers, special Aunt and Uncle Mary and Ray Sparrow, friend Tom Schanke, loyal canine Bennie and many other family and friends. Viewing will be on Tuesday Feb. 9, 2010 at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St from 2-9 PM. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 PM. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Toledo 1920 Indian Wood Circle Maumee, OH 43537. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com
