Loretta Mae Sisi

Loretta Mae Sisi, 68, of Port Clinton, OH passed away Monday, December 27, 2021 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, OH. She was born on February 23, 1953 in Youngstown, OH to Robert and Ina (Ward) Garr. She grew up in Cleveland, OH. On December 8, 1973 in Cleveland, OH she married Scott L. Sisi, and he preceded her in death less than a month ago on November 29, 2021. Loretta moved to Port Clinton with her husband and worked as a homemaker, raising their only daughter, Melanie there. Later in life, Loretta worked at the Drive-Thru in Oak Harbor, OH and mowed grass in the summertime for her neighbors. She and Scott also enjoyed traveling with his job. Loretta enjoyed gardening, cooking, and riding horses with her daughter. She also was a big supporter of the Humane Society, and a huge animal lover, especially dogs. Loretta is survived by her daughter, Melanie (Daniel) Lawson, granddaughter, Gabriella Lawson, sister, Linda Mayne, and brother-in-law, Gary Sisi. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and siblings, Joyce Potter, Robert Garr, Jr. and Jerry Garr. Funeral services for Loretta will be conducted 12:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 216 Washington St., Port Clinton, OH with visitation one hour prior to the services beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Catawba Island Cemetery, Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Loretta may be given to the Ottawa County Humane Society or the Island Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary.
