Loretta E. Friedricksen, 91, of Napoleon, formerly of Curtice, Ohio, died in the Napoleon Lutheran Home Tuesday evening, June 3, 2008. She was born July 5, 1916, in Mominee Town, Ohio, to Benjamin and Fannie Mae Priest Loomis. On November 28, 1933, in Curtice she married Elmer G. Friedricksen, who preceded her in death August 1, 1988. Loretta was a loving wife, mother, and a wonderful homemaker. She had been a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Williston. She is survived by her daughters, Betty L. Mike Chambers of Atlanta, MI, and Martha S. Philip Schaufele of Defiance, and son, Elmer D. Linda Friedricksen of Defiance. Loretta is also survived by nine grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, nine great-great grandchildren, and brother James Loomis of Naples, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Iva, Martha, Nellie, Viola, and brothers, Benjamin, Henry, and Perry. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Thursday, June 5, 2008, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home and Crematory, Genoa. The funeral service will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2008, in the funeral home with burial to follow in Allen Township Cemetery, Williston.
