Loretta Ruth Bourdeon, 81, of Oak Harbor, died Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton. She was born on December 22, 1926 in Luckey, OH to Earl Henry and Ruth Irene Grover Phillips. On October 11, 1947 in Latcha, OH she married Oliver Richard Bourdeon, and he preceded her in death on October 20, 1998. Loretta worked as a homemaker and was a charter member of Grace Baptist Church, Oak Harbor where she was a member of the womens group. She also was a past member of the D.A.V. Auxiliary. Loretta enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, watching baseball, and listening to Christian music. Survivors include: daughters: Faye E. Robert Dobbelare of Graytown, Rebecca J. Becky Krueger of Walbridge, and Irene L. Campbell of Oak Harbor; sisters: Elsie Mae Hampton of Bowling Green, Juanita Dennis of Lemoyne, Clara Bell Swartz of Perrysburg, Joyce Ann Rau of Perrysburg, Mary Lou Hernacki of Maumee, and Judy Daniels of Oak Harbor; brothers: John Jack Phillips of Oak Harbor and Carrol Robert Bob Phillips of Rudolph, 6 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, granddaughter: Lisa K. Mills Dobbelare, great grandson: John Jacob Miller, and son-in-law: Ronald Krueger. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m., Friday, August 15, 2008 at Grace Baptist Church, Oak Harbor. Visitation will be Thursday, August 14, 2008 from 2-8 p.m., with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Interment will be Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
