Loisann Dick

LoisAnn Dick, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Grand Rapids Care Center. She was born on October 6, 1938 in Toledo to George and Frieda Scheis Longeway. LoisAnn attended St. Charles and Notre Dame Academy. She was employed at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where she worked as the church secretary. LoisAnn and her husband, Paul, were foster parents to 6 children in addition to raising 8 children of their own. She loved to garden and enjoyed bowling. LoisAnn was preceded in death by her husband, Paul and brother, Tom Longeway. She is survived by her children, Michael Dick, Sarna Bill Richie, Lisa Larry Sproul, Theresa David Glenn, Heidi Mark Decker, Paul Kristine Dick, Debbie Keith Mockensturm, and Brian Dick; 24 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and brother, Francis Cindy Longeway. Visitation will be on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 4 to 8 pm at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St., Maumee where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11 am. Interment will follow at Wakeman Cemetery in Waterville, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
