Lois Whitehead

LOIS J. WHITEHEAD Lois Whitehead, age 74, of Swanton passed away peacefully on Sunday December 4, 2011 in her home surrounded by her loving family. Lois was born in Toledo on February 3, 1937 to Orville & Helen (Weber) Mastin. She married Jimmie Whitehead in Muncie, Indiana on July 7, 1956 and he preceded her in death on August 19, 2007. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are here children, Linda (Mark) Gerken; Brenda (Randy) Adams; Connie (Tim) Bowser; Pam (Gary) Buckstein; Jeff (Kelly) Whitehead; Diann (Steve Johnson) Lyon; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis (Bill) Johnson; brothers Chuck & Wilbur Mastin. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Clifford Mastin. Friends and family will be received in the Neville Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland (419-865-8879) from 6-9 pm Thursday, December 8 and 2-9 pm Friday, December 9, 2011, where funeral services will be held at 10 am Saturday, December 10, 2011. Entombment will follow at Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Cystic Fibrosis Association
