Lois T. Willett

Lois T. Willett, 92, of Genoa, Ohio, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born the daughter of Robert N. and Genevieve E. (Marshall) Templeman on February 18, 1926 in New Orleans, LA. Lois married her husband Warren G. Willett in the Chapel at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington VA, on October 27, 1945 and after 36 years of marriage; Warren preceded her in death on December 8, 1982. Lois was a homemaker who loved raising her six children. In later years, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. For a short time, she had worked at the former Fabric Circle. Lois was an active member of Lemoyne Baptist Church and was known for her flower arranging expertise as well as her hobbies of knitting, crocheting and sewing. Lois is survived by her loving children, Gregory (Elaine) Willett, Geraldine Kwiat, Beverly (Tom) Pack, Barbara (Terry Wilson) Fleitz and Richard Willett, 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Warren Willett, sister Roberta Keady, daughter, Carolyn Willett, son Bradley Willett, grandson Warren A. Willett (“Andy”), and daughter-in-law, Emiko Willett. Visitation for Lois will be conducted from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at the Lemoyne Baptist Church, 25020 Bradner Rd., Genoa, Ohio 43430. A funeral service will be conducted in the church at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 7, 2018, followed by interment at the Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa at 2:00 p.m. The family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the American Cancer Society, 740 Commerce Dr., Suite B, Perrysburg, OH, 43551, Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E.
