Lois E. Mcmanus

Lois E. Jean McManus, 82, of Oak Harbor, OH, passed away, Wednesday, October 07, 2009, in the Riverview Healthcare Campus, Oak Harbor, OH. Lois was born August 31, 1927, in Apollo, PA, the daughter of George and Emma Haddon Ross. On February 22, 1951 in Vandergrif, PA she married, Robert McManus and he preceded her in death in 1988. Lois worked as a homemaker, but had worked at the drive thru in Oak Harbor for a few years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School. Lois loved to sing and loved Christen music. She was a member of the Jr. Womens League and a past member of the Eastern Stars. Lois enjoyed playing cards in her earlier years and loved bowling. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends. Survivors include: Son: Charles Chip Pat McManus of Oak Harbor, OH; 2 Grandchildren: Kelly Eric Burnworth and Tally Therran Arebaugh; 9 Great-Grandchildren. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, brothers: James, Thomas, Merle and John Ross. Visitation will be Friday October 9, 2009, from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Oak Harbor. The funeral service will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. on October 9, 2009 in the funeral home with burial to follow in Union Cemetery, Oak Harbor.
