Lois E. Happ

Lois E. Happ, 94, of Spring Meadows Extended Care Center, Holland, OH, died on December 11, 2010. She was born in Milburn, KY, on November 25, 1916. She married John F. Happ, who preceded her in death. Lois was office manager for Diversified Business Equipment, jointly owned with her husband John, both retiring in 1978. Lois was also the Office Manager for Highland Meadows Golf Club in the 1960s. Previously, Lois was employed by Addressograph Multigraph Corp. for 25 years, the last 20 as office manager. She was also a past secretary for the National Office Management Association and was a former financial secretary for Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Lois attended Murray State University and taught in a one room rural schoolhouse for two years many years ago prior to moving to Toledo. Besides her husband, John, Lois was preceded in death by her son, Julian A. Harper, grandson, Stephen Harper, and all five of her siblings. She is survived by her son, Terry Happ Ginger, daughter-in-law, Sally Harper, grandchildren, Keith Harper Kelly, Lance Harper, Cynthia Happ, and John F. Happ II Lisa, many nieces, nephews, and one great-grandchild. Friends and family may visit on Wednesday, December 15, from 1-2PM at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave., followed by funeral services at 2PM. Interment will be private at Toledo Memorial Park. The family would like to thank the staff at Spring Meadows for their loving care and concern.
