Lois Evelyn Giesler, 81, of Perrysburg, Ohio died Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born in Falmouth, Kentucky on October 8, 1939 to Margaret “Fern” (Emminger) and Louie Biddle. Lois graduated from Woodville High School and married her sweetheart, Carlton H. Giesler on April 18, 1959 in St John’s United Church of Christ. Lois was a faithful member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Elmore where she was a church council secretary and on the scholarship committee. She also was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Woodville Fire Department, Woodmore Music Boosters and PTA. She collected trinkets and enjoyed decorating her rock garden for the different seasons. Lois was an excellent cook and loved to volunteer for potlucks. She was concerned for others and was supportive of her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed. Lois is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Carlton; son, Scott D. (Sharon) Giesler; granddaughter, Kristen Giesler; many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. Friends will be received at Witzler Shank Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St., Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133) on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. A funeral service will be Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 11:00 AM in St. John’s United Church of Christ, 448 Rice Street, Elmore, Ohio 43416 with burial to follow in Harris Elmore Union Cemetery.
