Lois Jean Coker

Lois Jean Coker, age 79, of Haines City, FL and formerly of Toledo, died April 19, 2015. She was born June 15, 1935 in Toledo to the late George and Mary (Maxwell) Butler. She attended Waite High School and was employed with Pinkerton Tobacco for several years. Lois later worked for Jeep, retiring after nearly 20 years of service. She was a longtime member of Northpoint Church of the Nazarene and enjoyed gardening. Surviving is her husband, Robert H. Bob Coker; children, Kenneth (Sue) Johns, Laurie (Terry) OLeary, David (Carolina) Johns, Patricia (Mark) Albright and Cheryl (Greg) Mattox; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild; brother, George (Joan) Butler; and sister, Linda (Ernie) Nolin. Lois was preceded in death by two sisters, Cheryl Heater and Janice Cousino. Visitation will be Sunday and Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
