Lois I. Arman

Lois (Orwig) Arman, 91, of Lambertville, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was born on January 28, 1926 in Bellevue to James Orwig and Ruth Hackenberg. Lois married Robert Arman on October 7, 1947 and he preceded her in death on July 20, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Carole Tovatt of Lambertville; granddaughter, Tina Firsdon (Rob); two great-grandsons, Nathan and Hunter; and many nieces and nephews. Lois was also preceded in death by brothers, Edward and Forrest Mike Orwig; sisters, Virginia Corcoran and Margaret Peggy Kauble; and son in law, Carl Tovatt. Lois truly enjoyed life. She loved to travel, go to the casino, visit her favorite restaurants to eat, but mostly enjoyed spending time with her family. Lois especially adored her great grandsons and they adored her. She also loved spending time with her granddog, 13-year old golden retriever, “Molly”, who will miss her dearly. Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m., Monday, January 8, 2018 in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey Rd.) where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. The family would like to sincerely thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg for their compassion and great care during this difficult time for Lois and her family.
