Lloyd R. Weber, 83, of Oak Harbor, died early Wednesday morning, September 3, 2014, at H.B. Magruder Hospital, Port Clinton, Ohio. Lloyd was born March 12, 1931, in Tiffin, Ohio, to Phillip and Bessie (McClory) Weber. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. On February 26, 1961, in Monroe, Michigan, he married Martha Ann Oswald and she survives. Lloyd worked as a truck driver for 41 years, retiring in 2002. He loved fishing, gardening, sitting outdoors, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was also a big Ohio State Buckeye and Cleveland Browns fan. In addition to his wife, Martha of 53 years, Lloyd is survived by his family: Tim (Tami) Weber, Katrina Weber, Steve Weber, Deb (Marty) Alford, Sandy Weber; step sons, Daryl (Pat) McDonald and Dennis (Theresa) McDonald, step daughter, Valerie (Ron) Miller; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, step father, Blaine Cramer, sister, Carol Castleman, step son, Gregory McDonald and grandson, Ryan Weber. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Kingdom Hall, Oak Harbor. A memorial dinner will be held in honor of Lloyd at the Tiffin V.F.W. at 4 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2014. Memorials for Lloyd may be given to the family. Arrangements have been handled by the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor.
