Lita Dale Denis

Lita Dale Denis, 84, of Marblehead, Ohio, and formerly of Port Clinton, Ohio, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Fremont, Ohio.

Lita was born August 20, 1941, in Morehouse, Missouri, to John and Vivian (Snider) Hagy. Over the years, she worked at East Harbor State Park, the Port Clinton Onion Factory, Swans Laundry, Silver Fleece Canning, and Dixon Ticonderoga Company as a machine operator. She enjoyed crocheting and will be remembered for her dedication and strong work ethic.

Lita is survived by her grandchildren, Trudy, Melaine, and Robert; her siblings, Joseph Mares, Michael Mares, and Delores Cantu; her nieces and nephews, Brenda, Steve, Michael Jr., and Derek; as well as many other loving family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Migal Denis; and her three sons.

Private graveside services will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Port Clinton. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
