Lisa Gifford

Lisa Jean Gifford, 56, of Northwood, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2025. She was born on July 22, 1968, in Louisa, KY.

Lisa had a deep love for travel, with Sarasota, FL, holding a special place in her heart. She found joy in rock collecting, cared deeply for her cats, and cherished every moment spent with her grandchildren. Her kindness extended to the birds and squirrels she lovingly fed.

For nearly 30 years, Lisa dedicated her career to the Environmental Protection Agency in Bowling Green, where she worked with passion and commitment. Among her many talents, she was known for making delicious garlic chicken and rice, a meal enjoyed by many.

Lisa will be missed dearly by her husband, Brian Gifford; children, Chris (Heather) Traxler, Ashley (Brett) Fruth; stepdaughter, Chelsea Walton; grandchildren, Adalynn, Finn, Lydia, Chloe, Waylon; step-grandchildren, Pheonix, Tasha; mother, Minnie Marcum; and beloved cats, Daisey, Jodi, and Pheobe. She was preceded in death by her brother, Mike Hinkle.

Visitation for Lisa will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 6-9 pm at Crum Funeral Home, 498 New Route 3, Inez. KY 41224, where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at 1 pm. Memorial donations in Lisa’s name may be made to Stray Hearts Animal Rescue, or to a local humane society of your choice.
