Lindsey R. Habekost

Lindsey R. Habekost, age 23, passed away peacefully in her mothers arms at Sunshine Childrens Home on December 29, 2010. Lindsey is survived by her parents, Denise R. Krueger and Carl Melinda Habekost; siblings, Misti Krueger and Bryan Krueger, Cole Habekost and Kate Habekost, and step-brother, Garrett Barboza; niece, Alexia Longoria and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family is deeply grateful for the loving care provided to Lindsey by the staff of the Sunshine Home for the past 13 years. Although she could not walk, talk, or communicate in any usual fashion, Lindsey managed to express unconditional love and brought out the very best qualities of those who knew her and worked with her. A memorial service will be held at the Sunshine Childrens Home at 7233 Maumee-Western Road in Maumee, Ohio on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 1 oclock. Contributions in memory of Lindsey may be made to Sunshine Foundation, Inc., to improve and enhance the lives of people with disabilities.
