Lindsay Marker Miller

Lindsay M. Miller, 49, of Sylvania, passed away peacefully on October 22nd, 2025. She was born on April 27th, 1976, in Toledo, Ohio to David and Barbara Marker. Lindsay married the love of her life, Mark, on April 20th, 2002, and together they raised two incredible children, Lauren and Alex. Lindsay was an amazing wife and “coach” to Mark, and an incredible mother to her two children. She was defined by her sincere empathy for others and her selfless giving. She was loved by many and will be missed.

Lindsay was a 1994 graduate of St. Ursula Academy and a 1998 graduate of Miami University. Her involvement in the Junior League of Toledo led her to become the former President of the Toledo Auxiliary, where she especially took pride in decorating the Toledo Hospital for the Christmas season. She developed many close friendships with those she worked with to help bring comfort to the hospital staff and patients. She had a strong passion for children and enjoyed making a special Christmas for those involved in Mom’s House.

In her free time, Lindsay had a passion for playing tennis that she passed down to her daughter, Lauren. In the summer, she spent most of her time at the lake and found true love and enjoyment from her close friends and family. She loved taking care of her dog, Niko, and it was always joked that she was his favorite. Above all else, raising her two children was her top priority and her legacy will be carried on through the family traditions she built.

Lindsay is survived by her husband, Mark, her children, Lauren and Alex, her parents, Barbara and David Marker, her siblings, Emily (Michael) Casey and Jonathan (Christine) Marker, her in-laws, Sarah (Steve) Dent and Anne Ruggiero, and her numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Mary J. Miller, her father-in-law, Robert J. Miller, her brother-in-law, Damian Ruggiero, and her grandparents.

Family and friends may visit Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Walker Funeral, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, Ohio. The Funeral Mass for Lindsay will take place on Friday, October 31, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Historic Catholic Church 130 Avondale Avenue Toledo, Ohio. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
