Linda Clark Tabbert

Linda Lucille Tabbert, age 70 of Swanton died Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Ebeid Hospice. She was born on September 6, 1948 to Curtis and Mildred (Miller) Clark in Concord, North Carolina. Linda married Richard R. Tabbert in Sylvania, Ohio on November 25, 1967. She worked as an Instructional Aid for Washington Schools for 25 years and was a member of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME). She loved to garden, but most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Richard R. Tabbert; sons, Timothy (Maggie) and Christopher Tabbert; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Kaylnn, Cole, Samantha and Larry; great grandchildren, Dakota, Daniel, Brooklyn, Jerry Jr., Jordan, Jackson and Mikey; sister, Pam (Richard) Gartee; brother, Curtis Clark as well as several nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Mildred as well as by her son, Gregory. Friends will be received on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 9:00-11:00 AM at Neville-Shank Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Contributions may be made in Linda’s name to the charity of the donor’s choice.
