Linda Ann Stanton

Linda Ann Stanton, age 75, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2017. Linda was born January 14, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Richard and Mary (Uhler) Swisher. She graduated from West Technical High School and was employed as a legal secretary for many years. Linda was a faithful Christian as a member of Jehovahs Witnesses for over 50 years. In her free time, Linda enjoyed reading, quilting, flower gardening (paying special attention to her tulips) and was a skilled cook. She will be affectionately remembered for her strong-willed and independent personality. Linda found her greatest joy in being a mother and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Todd (Kim) and Chad (Bo) Stanton; grandchildren, Andrew, Alyson, and Jack Stanton; great grandchild, Claire; brother, Robert (Bunny) Swisher; and sister Marilyn (Marty) Peculis. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses, 3725 W. Alexis Road, Toledo, OH 43623. Inurnment will take place at Toledo Memorial Park.
