Linda S Smith

Linda Sue Hollstein Smith age 66 of Toledo passed away May 9, 2016 in Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania. She was born February 11, 1950 in Toledo to Ray and Virginia (Falco) Hollstein. A 1968 graduate of Macomber Whitney High School she married Dale W. Smith on November 13, 1971. Linda had worked for the former Toledo Trust and Dillards. She enjoyed watching the Young and Restless, The Voice, Dancing with the Stars and Black List. An avid dog lover she loved her basset hounds, Max and Ernie and really missed Charlie who died 6 years ago. Preceded in death by her parents and her sister Rose Ann Hollstein, she will be deeply missed by her loving husband Dale; son Brian; brothers Gary (Shirley), Ron (Pat), Tony, Rick and Mike Hollstein; sisters Connie (Jim) DeVol, Beverly Hollstein and Brenda Bires; and brother-in-law Wesley Smith. Friends may visit the family at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 Sylvania Ave. (west of Corey) on Friday from 2-8 PM where a Scripture Service will be held at 7 PM. Funeral services will begin Saturday in the funeral home at 9:15 AM followed by the Mass of the Resurrection at 10 AM in St. Clement Church. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
