Linda S. Rapp

Linda Sue Rapp, age 66, of Holland passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Heartland at Promedica Flower Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Toledo on March 21, 1951 to Clifford and Nema (Smith) Ellis. Following graduation from Rogers High School in 1969, she married Kenneth A. Rapp on September 10, 1970 and he preceded her in death on September 25, 1993. Linda was a supervisor of the call center at Maritz Research and retired in 2011. She was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church, loved horses, was a huge fan of Bobby Vinton and enjoyed her trips to the casino. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her grandson, watching her granddaughter play softball and family dinners. She is survived by her son, Keith (Elissa) Rapp; grandchildren, Tyler and Addisyn; sister, Shirley Rooks; brothers, Charles “Chuck”, Robert (Gloria) and Melvin Ellis; lifelong friends, Susie Paterwich and Sandy Hilding as well as her POGO buddy from Australia, William Bates. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Nema; husband, Kenneth and her sister, Jean Blake. Friends will be received on Sunday, January 14, 2018 from 2-8 PM at Neville Shank Funeral Home, 7438 Airport Highway Holland (419-865-8879) where her funeral services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2018 at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Springfield Township Cemetery. Contributions may be made in Linda’s name to either her family or to the American Cancer Society.
