Linda E. Mayo

Linda E. Mayo, 68, of Maumee, Ohio died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Linda was born on August 17, 1947 to Walter and Julia (Christian) Faust. She graduated from Woodward High School in 1966 and married the love of her life, Ron Mayo, in June of 1967. Linda was previously a member of Salem Lutheran Church, and just recently joined New Hope Christian Church in Maumee. She enjoyed being a part of Lagrange Elementary PTA, the family Bunco Club, and family camping trips and holiday gatherings. Linda is survived by her husband, Ronald C. Mayo; sons, Matthew C. (Corrina) Mayo, Steven A. (Jennifer) Mayo, Mark J. (Amber) Mayo, Paul L. (Kim) Mayo, Sr.; grandchildren, Kaylynn, Hannah, Nicholas, Jacqueline, Mackenzie, Abigail, Ava, Greyson, Paul L. (Corri) Jr., Ashley; four great-grandchildren; siblings, “Sis” (John) Brewer, “Marty” (Donald) Elliott, “Pete” Elliott, Mark (Tina) Faust, sister-in-law, Barb Faust; and lifelong friend, Charlene Hibbs. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Julia; brother, “Butch” Faust, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Robert Elliott. Friends will be received at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary St. Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 (419-874-3133) on Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, February 15, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Maumee.
